“The day Vincenzo Mammarella and his son Pierpaolo came to my workshop asking me to hand paint and make each of the containers for their oil unique, I thought they were crazy; after a moment they smiled sweetly and explained the good heartedness of that idea.”
They wished to honour their admirers with a collectible design object, with varying combinations of colour, in short, a treasure chest that contained their extraordinary "green gold" (cit. A. Vitiello).
We started with a few dozen pieces and today I no longer remember how many or all the colors used. Obviously, those who love Vincenzo's oil know that choosing this product is not just about the palate, it’s about being able to express oneself and one's (good) taste.
Because basically it's a question of style and culture, not just food.
